BEGINNING TAI CHI
- now live online -

Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang performing the Hunyuan 24 Yilu, c. 1992.
This is the first form students learn in Beginning and Intermediate Tai Chi.

Beginning Tai Chi
Wed - 9:00-10:00 AM
and
Sat - 10:00-11:00 AM

The Beginning Tai Chi class covers the 24 Yilu beginning form (see video above). This is an ongoing class: we cover the entire form and then immediately start again, in an endless loop. Join at any time, and stay as long as
you like (two years recommended).

A note on health
If you're applying for Tai Chi for health reasons, don't.
Tai Chi is a martial art, and that's the way we teach it. It will in fact help your health, but it takes a couple of years to feel real benefits.
Do our Qigong classes instead.
Qigong (chi-gung) is the foundation of Tai Chi, but it's a health art,
and the benefits come much, much faster. And it feels good!

  Tuition: $360 per term
(Tai Chi plus Morning Qigong is $720 per term)
Terms are quarterly. Tuition is due in full the first week of classes each term, unless you're on medical disability or you're a senior on limited income, in which case special arrangements can be made.
We do not provide financial assistance or internships.
